The Power of Nature - Mindfulness & Nature Positive in Italy

The POWER OF NATURE training course is designed with local support from Rewilding Apennines and Wildlife Adventures in the Central Apennines. During this 5 day program, you will have the opportunity to completely reset in one of the most beautiful rewilding areas in Europe, the Abruzzo National Park in Italy. During this unique training, we combine mindfulness, moving in nature and elements of the nature positive movement to create a deeper connection with yourself and your environment. This training offers the perfect balance between personal growth, experiencing nature, and meaningful experiences. It is a mindfulness retreat, without the continuous silence, but with the connection, valuable contacts and conversations with like-minded others. Our local guides will take you on breathtaking tours through the rewilding area and introduce you to rewilding, ethical wildlife watching and local communities. You will learn what it means to become Nature Positive and how you can give back to nature and local communities. During this mindfulness training from Monday 1 till Friday 5 June 2025, you will sleep in a mountain hut, in the middle of nature, and in a family owned hotel in the town of Pescasseroli, Italy. Minimum 6, maximum 8 participants. * All MOYO programs are (aside from transport to Rome) fully inclusive, and come with a 10% give back on top of the training price, that flows into a fund to a) support nature in the areas we operate in, and b) benefits new trainees through (partly) funded training programs.

What to Bring

To make the most of your mountain adventure, pack light but smart. Days in the Abruzzo wilderness in June can be warm under the sun yet cool and fresh in the evenings, especially at higher altitudes. Bring layered clothing, including a warm fleece or jacket, comfortable hiking boots, and a waterproof shell for unexpected rain. A small daypack is essential for carrying water, snacks, and your packed lunch on field days. Don’t forget reusable bottles, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses for long hours outdoors. Since the Terraegna refuge runs on solar power, electricity is limited—so pack a headlamp or torch and consider a power bank for small devices. Finally, bring along personal toiletries, a towel, and any essentials you can’t do without—while leaving room to enjoy the simplicity of life in nature. Bedding is provided at the refuge.
