A day to discover the Serranía de Cuenca
Full-day visit to discover two of the most spectacular and emblematic natural enclaves of the Serranía de Cuenca: the Enchanted City and the Monumento Natural del Nacimiento del río Cuervo. Through this comprehensive experience, we immerse in the majestic forests of the Serranía de Cuenca and the natural processes that led to the formation of its unique geomorphological and botanical features. The day also allows us to spot some of the typical inhabitants of the mountain forests: red deer, fallow deer, birds of prey, and dozens of forest birds, among many other species of wildlife. The activity includes short stops to enjoy other magical spots in the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park, such as the Laguna de Uña and the Ventano del Diablo. This experience, lasting around 7-8 hours, can be enjoyed at any time of year and is ideal for those visiting the Serranía de Cuenca for the first time. It is undoubtedly a unique opportunity to experience the best of the Serranía de Cuenca in a sustainable way, in line with the principles of ecotourism.

How your experience helps rewilding efforts
At Ecoturismo Cuenca, we promote responsible travel to natural and rural areas, allowing visitors to discover them while contributing to their conservation, reducing environmental impact, and enhancing local development. We uphold the values of the International Ecotourism Society, focusing on three main criteria: conservation; social and economic development; and awareness, participation, shared responsibility, and excitement. But our commitment to protecting and restoring nature goes even further through our collaboration with Rewilding Spain on their environmental education programme, Rewilding Educa, and with regional authorities by developing scientific studies for nature preservation. Thanks to the wide variety of activities we offer, we approach ecotourism from a broad and inclusive perspective, bringing visitors the very best of our landscape. 🌿
