Marco Ferraz is a passionate by Nature who decided to change his career as a Biotechnology Engineer for a life dedicated to Environmental Education, leading projects related to Environmental Management, Mycology, and Nature Conservation. He has worked in Côa Valley since 2011 as a Nature Guide and Environmental Educator, author of the book: Mini nature guide: let's discover the natural heritage of Figueira de CasteloRodrigo. He was an Environmental Education & Ecotourism officer at ATNatureza- Faia Brava Reserve, working on trail marking, content production, training of guides, and dynamization of Nature Interpretation and visits in the Côa Valley. Now is the owner of AMBIEDUCA and Casas de Villar, a tour operator and accommodations created by Marco Ferraz to stimulate activities to bring kids and adults in contact with nature and stimulate healthy and sustainable lifestyle practices. AMBIEDUCA is an official tour operator at the Greater Côa Valley, Douro International National Park, and at the Côa Valley Archeological Park (Unesco World Heritage Site since 1998).
