Our cabins are nestled within the rewilding landscape of the Southern Carpathians, surrounded by untamed nature and abundant wildlife. We offer four eco-conscious accommodation spaces—two log cabins and two treehouses—crafted from natural, sustainable materials like wood and wool insulation. Thoughtfully integrated into the landscape, these spaces offer comfort while treading lightly on the land, encouraging a slower, more mindful connection with the environment. Guests can immerse themselves in nature right from the cabin porch: watching birds flit through the trees in our garden, spotting roe deer and foxes on quiet walks through the semi-wild surroundings of our village, or wandering through lush meadows bursting with wildflowers. By offering a peaceful retreat where people can slow down and reconnect with the wild, we hope to spark a deeper appreciation for the natural world—and the importance of its recovery. We’re also inspired by the local rewilding team’s ongoing work training guides and developing meaningful, nature-based experiences. These activities not only enrich our guests’ understanding of this unique landscape, but also support the people who live here and the broader rewilding efforts.
