DAY 1 15H-23H30 – Arrive at Rewilding Centre in Vale de Madeira (Pinhel) for check-in DAY 2 09H-12H: Guided visit to Ermo das Águias rewilding area with Wildlife Portugal 12H: Transfer to Marialva historical village 13H30: Lunch with local and typical products in Pé de Cabra 14H30: Guided historical visit to Marialva with Hereditas 18H30: Return to Rewilding Centre 20H: Veggie gastronomic experience with local products in the Rewilding Centre, by local chef Miguel Veiga DAY 3 09H-13H: Transfer and guided visit to Vale Carapito rewilding area with Wildlife Portugal 13H: Field lunch inside Vilar Maior castle, with local products from the Wild Côa Network 14H30-17H: Historical and natural peddy paper inside Vilar Maior village, organized by Beir’aja, and return to the hotel to finish the program

This experience is provided by Rewilding Portugal, an NGO that is part of Rewilding Europe's range of landscapes and has been developing strong rewilding efforts in the Greater Côa Valley region in Portugal since 2019. All profits from these tourist experiences are directly invested in their conservation and ecological restoration projects.

This visit is guided by Fernando Romão, a rewilding-specialized guide from Wildlife Portugal, that will present you all of the rewilding actions and impacts on the ground.
